Robotic case erector are automated packaging equipment that uses multi-joint industrial robots/SCARA manipulators as the core execution unit, combined with vacuum suction cup grippers, vision systems, bottom folding mechanisms, and sealing mechanisms. They automatically grasp flat carton blanks, complete carton opening and forming, bottom folding, and bottom sealing with tape/hot melt glue, and output finished empty cartons.
